Julie was commissioned by Base 79 for Google/Youtube to create original content for the Flow YouTube channel. This included many parkour themed documentaries showcasing different international communities including Brazil, Denmark, Finland and Denmark.

In 2006 more parkour videos were appearing on the internet, and in Rio, people started copying the moves and making their own content. They never stopped moving.

SAO PAULO

The parkour community in Sao Paulo started around 2005 by a group of friends. Interviews with Bruno Peixoto, one of the original Brazilian traceurs and many others.

Training in Nature: Vic Verdier

Interested in Martial Arts and fighting techniques since his time in the Army, Vic is a Krav Maga Instructor, a firearm instructor and a trainer for several martial arts, with an extensive practice with athletes in South-East Asia.

Vic has a BSc in Exercise Science and is certified as a Strength Coach (CSCS) and as a Trainer for several organizations (IKFF, CrossFit, USA Weightlifting, USA Track & Field). He is a certified Nutritionist (C-ISSN), a certified Wilderness EMT and an Advanced First Aid Instructor Trainer.

Vic is the co-owner of Kettlebility LLC, a Premier Fitness Studio located in Seattle, WA and specialized in movement and Russian hard-style kettlebell training. He is certified as a StrongFirst Team Leader and is the co-author of the StrongFirst Kettlebell Instructor Toolbox online course. He has written multiple articles for StrongFirst, Breaking Muscle and other highly recognized fitness publications.
